WIwrestle is adding reinforcements. You are all already familiar with human encyclopedias and ever so talented Teague & Steve on the Wisconsin Wrestler Podcast. You also have all seen the fantastic photos from not one but two incredible photographers in Jenni and Bret Peterson. However, it’s time we add some more!
Our goal from the beginning has been to provide this great state with an abundance of coverage and shine to all the athletes that compete or have ties to the great state of Wisconsin. From high school, college, senior level and youth these wrestlers put in a lot of hard work and they deserve to be recognized and celebrated for their accomplishments!
Well now we will be doing even more!
First up is the Queen of the Mat Podcast that will be hosted by Mateah Roehl & Brooke Crawley. They will podcast weekly and help WIwrestle cover all things women’s wrestling across the state and those native to Wisconsin. Make sure to give them a follow on instagram at “queenofthematpodcast”!
Next Shane Kennelly will be helping us improve on our WIAC coverage. Shane loves wrestling and also actively follows the WIAC teams in the state. Expect to see some creative articles, previews and recaps from us this season! Shane will also be a guest on the WIwrestle podcast to fill us in on all things WIAC wrestling! Shane has already written a WIAC preview article you can check out now on Rokfin!
Finally, WIwrestle will be stepping up their coverage on the Wisconsin Badgers! Everyone loves the Badgers so we will be sure to talk about them! Seth Vosters, a Badger alumni and myself (Nate) will be starting a podcast called “Badger Den” that you can listen to every Monday evening LIVE at 6:30pm on the WIwrestle Facebook, Rokfin and Spotify. Each week we will spend the time talking and breaking down all things Badger Wrestling. We also will be joined each week by the Head Coach of the Wisconsin Badgers Chris Bono. Coach Bono will join us each week for a segment of the show where we can get updates and talk to him about all things wrestling!
Wrestling season is no longer almost here, it is officially here! Thank you to everyone who has supported us thus far and thank you to all who are jumping on the train! We will continue to provide you and these athletes the coverage and recognition they deserve!
