2026 WWF Youth State!

Youth State is upon us! High School state, team state, NCAA’s have all just wrapped up, but now it’s time to celebrate the future generations of high school and college wrestling with the Wisconsin youth state tournament! Boys and girls from 8th grade and below will be traveling to Madison this weekend to compete for a WWF state title and give us all a glimpse of who some of the bright upcoming wrestlers of our state could be.

For many youth wrestlers this will be the biggest stage they have wrestled on so far in their young careers. But with that it is always important to remember this is not the end all be all, it is only the beginning. Some of our state’s best wrestlers of all time never even qualified for youth state and many more never won a youth state title. It’s a great weekend to celebrate wrestling in Wisconsin, but it’s only the beginning.

Wrestling will begin on Friday morning at 8:40am with the Grand March for all participating wrestlers that day. A great way to celebrate not only the future champions, but all who have made it to Madison. Wrestling will then begin for the 2013-14 & 2015-16 boys at 9am.

Saturday doors will again open at 7am followed by the 8:40 Grand March at 9am start time for the wrestling. Ages 2011-12 & 2017-18.

Then finally on Sunday, it will be a day of all girls wrestling! All ages will have their Grand March at 8:40am and all ages will compete for a WWF Youth State Title starting at 9am.

Not only is it a great time to see all the young wrestlers competing, but it’s also a great time celebrating the local youth clubs wearing their colors and mascots. The local clubs that help mold the young wrestlers. Some of those clubs include;
