The inaugural Women’s NCAA Tournament took place this past weekend and 3 Wisconsin natives came home with All American honors. Leading the charge was Kyle Welker. Kylie won the 180lb weight class in dominant fashion winning all four of her matches by either fall or tech. Kylie is a native of Franksville and was a graduate of Waterford Union high school.
Mineral Point native Kylie Rule brought home a 5th place finish as a junior. She finishes her season with a 26-7 record. Baraboo native and senior Alexis Winecke finished 7th at 103lbs as the 12 seed for Stevens Point. Alexis finished her season with a 39-10 record.
