The dual between Big 12 opponents #6 Missouri vs #9 Northern Iowa takes place Tuesday November 28th. On the schedule it says “VS” meaning a home dual for the #6 Missouri Tigers but in reality this dual will be a home meet for the list of names you see below. Names from both the Mizz and UNI roster. Hartland Wisconsin will host this dual and there are a combined 9 Wisconsin natives between the two college rosters.

Keegan O’Toole: Hartland Wisconsin:
O’Toole is a product of Arrowhead High School and Askren Wrestling Academy. In Wisconsin he was a 4x State Champ, Junior Fargo Champ, Super 32 Champ, and earned the #1 ranking while in high school. O’Toole has gone onto being a 4x NCAA All American placing 3rd twice and winning two National Titles! In addition he has won both a U20 and U23 World Title.
Ellis Pfleger: Grafton Wisconsin
Pfleger is in his last season at Missouri where has taken the term Student-Athlete to the max. While being a member of a Top 10 program Pfleger has also pushed himself in the classroom as a Mechanical Engineer Major and earned Academic All Big 12 Honors twice! In High School he was a 2x state pulsar and won a State Title by MD for Grafton his senior year. He was also a folkstyle nationals All American in 2019.
Aeoden Sinclair: Milton, Wisconsin
As a true freshman Sinclair has found a spot in the starting lineup for #6 Missouri. In high school he was a 3x State Champion, Fargo Champion, Super 32 Champ, and a Cadet World Team Member. He was the #1 ranked wrestler at his weight class in the country and a top 5 overall recruit. Sinclair finished his senior season undefeated and all bonus point victories. He also won the Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award.
Preston Spray: Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin
Spray comes from one of the best programs in Wisconsin History. He had a high school record of 152-17 while placing twice at the state tournament including a State Title his senior season. At Missouri he is majoring in both Economics and Business.
Jake Stoffel: Appleton Wisconsin
Another freshman at Missouri Stoffel is a well known Wisconsin name. He was a 2x State Champion for Appleton North. He also was a Cadet Fargo All American, and U17 trials AA. He finished high school ranked 17th in the country at his weight class and the 79th overall recruit.
Northern Iowa Panthers
John Gunderson: Baraboo, Wisconsin
Gunderson was a Wisconsin State Champion as a senior earning a fall in both the semis and finals. He was a 4x Wisconsin Freestyle State Champion and also a Junior Fargo All American. This past summer while at UNI Gunderson won the U23 World Team Trials and became a member of the U23 Freestyle World Team.
Parker Keckeisen: Nicolet, Wisconsin
Keckeisen is one of the best known wrestlers from Wisconsin. He’s a NCAA 4x All American placing 3rd as a freshman and sophomore, 2nd two years ago and winning a National Title last season at 184 pounds. He finished his Title run with all bonus point victories at the National Championships and was a Hodge Trophy Finalist. He’s also Academic all Big 12 three times and twice a NWCA Scholar All American. In high school he was a 4x state placer and 2x State Champion for Nicolet. He also placed 3rd at Junior Fargo.
Grant Stromberg: Mukwonago, Wisconsin
Coming out of High School Stromberg was a 2x State placer finishing 3rd as a senior. He had 129 career wins and 89 career falls. He made the bloodround of Junior Fargo in freestyle and was 3rd place finisher in Junior Fargo Greco.
Connor Thorpe: Brookfield, Wisconsin
Thorpe comes from Brookfield East High School where he placed 3rd at the state tournament 3 times before finally capturing the elusive State Title his Senior season. He had a 131-19 career record and had an impressive 4.1 GPA. He was also a post season nationals All American in high school. At UNI he has been on the Academic all Big 12 First team twice and a NWCA Scholar All American.
