WIwrestle Fall Open was this past Saturday and it was a great day of wrestling featuring lots of interesting matches and results. As always we try to make our events run as efficiently as possible and create a fun environment for the wrestlers to get some matches in before the season kicks off! Below are some of the notable things we saw after Saturday in the elite and girls high school divisions.
Elite High School:
At elite 106 Kolten Mueller (Team Nazar) took home gold after defeating Michael Bird of Izzy Style. Mueller competed last year at Who’s The Little Cheese and will be someone to watch this season as he makes his high school debut this season.

Izzy Style goes back to back winning the title at 126lbs as well. This time Kannon Judycki took out Gavin Slark by fall in the first period. Slark was a 3rd place finisher in D3 last year at state.
